Name Cards.
Name Cards... Are Embarrassing.
Sorry havent blogged for a long time, getting stressed over the prelims. Yep, just finish a conversation with wai mun about how each of us are doing, studies and personal stories :) esp e part where i hate LianXz. Eeeuch! yuck.
one thing i've notice is how Singaporeans dress esp e youths, everywhere u turn its e norm. Short skirt, Tank top, branded shoes and a short handbag. Mind u all of e stuff on em are branded. Von dutch, Rip curl, Roxy.
How boring..... e same old style over and over again, copying others. its worst if they're lian, not that i dispise them or Hate em to e core. it more of a YUCK feeling u know. Rite? justin? lol like ur hate of Monks esp e temple next to ur house where they do daily rituals of ramming their heads against the big gong in e spire. LOL and we shot stuff over la lol should shoot like "Monk Repelient" next time, come up with a secret formulae. SO NOISY!!! ok stop criticising. Anyway where was i about e FASHION TRENDS IN SINGAPORE. Their dressing is like so cliche. sigh. Branded good what so Good about em, ok maybe i do have a few branded goods but its cos they last yeah but its SO obvious that some ppl buy it cos they think its so COOL. Some use it as a way to entertain themselves and even to hide depression. Shopaholics (how ever u spell it). i know i shouldnt judge ppl like this but its just my opinion about how they dress and carry themselves, not being humble and all. flaunting their wealth (WHICH IS SICK) or when they're not rich and yet try to flaunt their wealth. Please save ur money and dun get all this useless materialistic stuff.
Once my frens and i were walking down orchard road, wasafter mid years. Say this gal Sashaying down e road towards us. Just as she passed us we were having this conversation about how we hated imitation goods and how ppl still flaunt it, HAHA so happen that That gal's bag was a PIRATED von dutch bag. how sad, cos she overheard our conversation... hahah So much for sashaying which turned into sulking.Yes yes coming to e name cards part. i cant stand well lians cos, i find that their too animated? they have this Childish tinge in em tt i find odd esp if e gal is like 19+ and its like these gals have veiled their true character by a false identity? just to fit into e crowd? All starts when e person is young man. Parents dun control them they just follow e rest of e world and living life without a meaning to it. Everyting is cash cash cash. i mean okay u've got a screwed up face but when u try to flaunt it and think that u look so great it gets alittle overboard yeah? And not only that is when u have a screwed up character too? Double Badness man.I've got this fren of whom that i thought that she would turn SO vain and materialistic, i was so Wrong. i went back to my previous school and lo and behold she had makeup on her, so obvious she rebonded her hair, was combing and preening herself in e glass plane of e noticeboard. Her frenster is like DOH so vain and like typical lian now eek... I so Believe that no one is stopping u from being beautiful, its just how do u carry urself and how would other ppl think of u when u do stuff like that (eg, flaunt ur wealth, velvet ur true character). Ultimately its up to you to show who u are. i learnt one important thing from Ben Ang, is "Think of how others would view u as a servant of God and what God would do if he were in that situation that u were in". i guess God has brought me through many things so far in my life, 16 years and i've experienced so much, i've got many more years to come and i'll treasure em.
ok e giving out name cards part, went for tuition today and finished my work so tutor wanted me to give out name cards to Ij St Joseph convent gals :S was terrible.... Stepped out into e vast sea of blue like a lost child clinging on to his name cards. Being eyed at by Brutish Butches eek! freaky man they've got CHEST MUSCLES.... and yes CHESS ABS LOL... dunno bout arm pit hair tho lol. dun wanna know. SO SO many butches... and like holding their partner's hands. Yuck. However i find that e indian gals were e nicest, no butches frenly, TAKES UR NAME CARDS. unlike some ppl. haha. My line? "Hi, i m helping my tuition teaher give out his name cards, care to take one? (Take all!!!! take this burden off of my hands). Had one bunch of gals was so obvious, they purposely went directly to me knowing that they wanted e name cards. LOL i gave em like 20?! and they actually thought that i was e TUTOR?! haha pity my tutor he's gonna get all e prank calls. it says on e card, "RAFFLES TUITION", "RJC". DO I EVEN LOOK ONE BIT LIKE A RAFFLESIAN? and besides i was wearing an ACS uniform?! hmmm lol.but one of e funniest ones were, *i approached this gal* used my line and her ans was a straight "No thanks". lol i didnt even finish my sentence. HAHAHAH I GAVE THAT "Erm... okay" look in abit of a stunned mode with my hand protruding out to pass her e cards... hahaha but then she amd her Laughed, haha wasnt tt bad. smiled and said "Thank you".Interesting day i would say.
